Did you get chance to check this yet Paul?
anyone noticed that now when you create, say a four bar loop, the number '4' that is displayed on the loop menu that pops up is no longer highlighted?
previously setting a four bar loop, the loop menu would highlight the '4' confirming that you'd set the correct length. same thing applies to 1, 2, 8, 16 etc - now i've got no idea what loop length i've set which is a bit annoying.

Hi. I dont have this problem. I updated my nexus players to 1.10 yesterday. Did you try to update them again? Download the update again, format your USB stick to fat32 and try again. I hope it works for you too! ;-)
I just tried too with a usb drive, held down "IN" to create a 4 beat loop and it is highlighted on the strip
Hi Phil, same for me all good mate
hmmm, it's definately screwed up for me. here's a video i shot this morning. @stian - i used the same stick (FAT32) i have used for every firmware update for 3 years. i re-downloaded in case there was a corrupt file but it says the firmware is up to date - is there a way to force the firmware to update again?

Pulse/Gavin - how do i go about getting this fixed, is there something i can do myself or do i need to return them?
oh thats different from what I tried, I held down the "IN" so it auto creates the 4 beat loop, Setting your own manual in/out loop I didnt think ever highlighted the beat on the strip being that you manually set it.
try pressing and holding IN for 2 seconds, it will create the 4 beat loop and highlight 4
i'm pretty sure that if you set a 4 beat loop, even manually, that it would highlight '4' on the strip - i could be wrong though....
I dont think it would only because it really doesnt know if it's a 4 beat if you manually set it, unless maybe it does it when quantize is on. I never really noticed
even in the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwTQ-6yi4uY
when the guy hits a saved loop, the loop number doesnt highlight, only when he sets a 4 beat loop by holding "IN" does it highlight
this one too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hx3iCh7RgS4
he sets a manual loop and nothing highlights so i believe this function never existed and you may be confusing it with a manual loop created or a loop you started via the loop strip or holding down "IN"
ok, i must have been mistaken. thanks brian.
