did you remember to create a library when you ejected you usb from rekordbox?

[SOLVED] Rekordbox on a usb using XDJ-R1
The instructions are really limited, so forgive me if this is something easy to figure out and I'm just missing it.
I checked my USB and it is working fine. It is loaded with music through rekordbox (2.0.7), but when I plug the usb stick into the XDJ-R1 and hit browse, all that shows up is "Contents".
I can then browse just like I would if it was a controller that could read usb and folders, but not rekordbox. How do I browse by playlist so that I can see my playlists?
I realize there have been some issues with this device. But I have low expectations for this device, it's nothing I would ever use at a professional gig, but I went with the Pioneer instead of the Numark Mixdeck for the very fact that I would be able to use the same USB drives that I have already been using.
I did check that I have the 1.05 firmware on the XDJ-R1, and the usb is an 8 gig SanDisc Cruiser formatted with MS-DOS (FAT32).
If there's no possibility of this reading playlists in rekordbox, does anyone know if the Aero can?

yes,, you have to make sure in the RB preferences/export tab that your device is the XDJ-R1 in the drop down box this way it creates the library for that specific device

There it is. Preferences. General. Create library exclusively for "XDJ-R1".
Changed this setting, dragged a playlist over to a fresh device newly formated with MS-DOS (FAT32), clicked eject device and create library.
Unplugged usb from computer, and plugged into the XDJ-R1, and...
E-8307
Anyone know what E-8307 means? Now it's not even showing the contents folder and I can't play anything off of it.
Do I need to format the usb stick in a different file format? Is there a later version of rekordbox 2.0.7 that makes a difference?

A different computer running Rekordbox using a different USB thumb drive does the same thing. I did try formatting the usb with Max OS Journaled, but rekordbox gave me an error message saying it must be a MS-DOS Fat16 or 32 to be able to use it, so re-formatted it as Fat.
And it still just says E-8307 when I plug in a usb drive.
My standards are so low for this thing that all I want it to do is to play music, it doesn't have to mix well. But unfortunately, it seems to fail with the step of turning it on.
Can anyone tell me if the Aero works with USB flash drives loaded with Rekordbox, or am I best off ditching rekordbox and burning audio cds only?

Another key thing, I'm on a Mac. Has anyone ever been able to get the XDJ-R1 to work with a mac?

Was able to get some USB flash drives to work.
I think the error has to do with the way the drive is formatted. When you are in disk utility (on a mac anyways), you will see both the left drive, and then just below that, the name of the drive (or partition). If you click on the partition, and hit Erase, it won't work, you have to click on the drive, and click erase.
I noticed that the disks that were giving me the E-8307 Error had "Partition Map Scheme: GUID Partition Table", and even though it was 1 partition, it was failing.
The drives that worked had "Partition Map Scheme: Master Boot Record".

@Aaron > Fully format the USB using Disk Utility to FAT32 (ensure you have a back up of whats on the USB if you don't have a local copy).
Then re-export the data to the USB stick from rekordbox.
