DJM-900SRT DISCONTINUED ?!?!?!

So does this mean I should be writing this in the "Legacy Products" section? Two years seems a little short for the life of such an expensive mixer, no? Does this mean we shouldn't expect it to be added to the supported mixers for Rekordbox DJ? Is this why you did it? Does this mean I should be worried about firmware updates? Does this mean the drivers won't be updated?

TBH This mixer has been one of the biggest slap in the face since the day I got it.

Any insight would be great as I am understandably a bit frustrated (this is becoming quite a trend here huh?) at the moment.

This is truly unfortunate. Honestly two years is simply not long enough to discontinue a product of this caliber.

Any chance of some answers to the questions above? I extremely concerned again.

Well, I haven't heard anything official, but if that article is to be believed, it does point out that the DJM900NXS is now fully Serato compatible AND Traktor compatible, making it slightly better than the SRT model anyhow, even if the SRT model had a couple of nicer hardware changes (eg. faders).

I know................ I have both and imagine what a slap in the face it was the day you realized you should have never bought the latter? Now add a kick in the (you know what) to that slap as the initial model which is more than double the age has NOT been discontinued.

Please let me know if you hear anything on this. Not so much as confirmation as Techtools is about as reliable as it gets but more along the lines of if I am going to have any problems going forward with firmware updates and such. Let's be honest we should not be having this conversation. I will say it again Two years is NOT a life cycle for a mixer of this caliber.
