XDJ-R1

Hi, my XDJ-R1 is great, but I have not been very happy with the quality of the beat FX on here. They sound very digital and noisy. I have seen demo's and heard other units and they sound fine. Is there anything I can do to get my unit singing? Currently running ver 1.12 firmware.
