DJM S9 Bracket Mounts

Just curious if Pioneer actually makes bracket mounts, rack mounts or ears…whatever you want to call them for the S9? I usually prefer to stack my turntables in their flight cases and mount my mixer between the two cases. I'm hoping theres some bolt on brackets for the mixer. Does anyone know if pioneer manufactures these by chance? I've tried calling several numbers in customer service with absolutely no luck of getting anyone on the phone who could handle this question. Thanks!

Not currently. Looking at the sides of the mixer, there doesn't seem to be enough holes for one and the plastic sides are also part of the base... I'm leaning towards no, but I'll see if I can find out if there are plans to produce them.

Yeah two screws is pretty limited though. If the plastic can be removed to reveal more screw holes, that would be the best case.

Worst case, this kind of item is also available - basically a tray to sit your mixer in between the flight cases.

Where did you find this? I have a friend that actually fabricated something similar to this for his 909 (which is just a tad bit wider than the S9). This would actually work perfect if the width is right.

I believe it's simply referred to as a "battle bridge" or "flight case mixer bridge," that particular image was a Google images search result from some karaoke website.

Thanks, I actually searched this before, I don't recall seeing so many different options available. Hopefully I'll find one thats a snug fit.

Given that the S9 is a bit wider than the old battle mixers for which those were designed, it might be a tough search, but if you come across one that works, I'm sure other users might be looking for something similar and would appreciate if you would share that info. Until then, I'll wait to hear back from the product team on official "ears."

Might want to see if a local 3D printer shop or metal fab worker is willing to try and make one of those battle bridges for an S9. Thats if you really want one right now.

I had a local sheet metal place make a bridge for me. The dimensions worked out perfectly. If anyone is interested in having one made let me know. I will send pictures of mine just shoot me an email.

Nice! I have to make adjustments to my mixer case. I ordered a flight case but the mixer doesn't fit as snug as I would like it too.

Just buy some extra foam pads from Road ready or Gator and any flight case manufacturer. Usually when you buy a 10 or 12" case it will come with extra foam. I'd recommend a 12" case for the S9. If your going to use a bridge or brackets (if they're ever made) then you'll want a 12" case. my S9 fits perfectly in my flight case

Ahhhh I bought a 10" case and I can't even put 1 of the extra foam strips in on either side of the mixer. I also have to trim the foam near the bottom of the mixer so the wall conforms to those rubber bumpers.
