Solved it... I went through this article https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/205021519 and embarrassed to admit that I had some malware which was blocking the connection. thanks

This set up worked previously for me up until about 3 weeks ago, there have been no major system changes. I have 3 DJX-1000 and a DJM-900 nexus hooked up via ethernet to my computer and my roommate also has his hooked up via the same router. The link button is available in the bottom left, when I click link, all 3 cdj's are displayed in the bottom and I can see my roommate loading tracks and playing them via the color change of the CDJ symbol from orange to green when played.
However, when I go over the CDJ's my library does not show up on the CDJ when linked and I am unable to physically drag songs in rekordbox onto the CDJ. So I am able to link to the CDJ's via the ethernet but I am not able to write to the CDJ's. My roommate has the same version of Windows and Rekordbox as me. We also have a friend who is able to connect via WIFI on a Macbook.
I reinstalled both versions of rekordbox 3.3 and 4, the problem is still ocurring. All files associated are allowed through fire wall publicly and privately. I disabled my firewall, VPN, and antivirus to see if that could be interfering with the connection and that didn't fix it. WIFI is disabled. I ran the program as admin. I have the latest drivers
I've been searching the internet and havent come across anyone who is having a similar issue. Any help would be great. Let me know of any more information you may need that might help
