DDJ RX FIRMWARE

Hi, Still having problems updating my DDJ RX Firmware, I am a windows 10 user and I have been told to set my browser to firefox as a default to download the update and to download java... All done but when I do it still downloads with edge and will not work... I am a total numpty when it comes to computer so can someone please help. I have followed the update process to the letter but still no joy

Did you try right-mouse click on the Java file and Run as Admin?

Hi, I have tried everything I just cant get the bloody thing to work but to be honest I dont really know what Im doing with computers

Did you hold power/sync/shift until the light flashes

and then run the update while in update mode?

Its not the controller side of things I just cant get the firmware to run

Also make sure you unzip the file with winzip or

something comparable

Well I have tried to the download on my Windows 10 Laptop at work and it all seems to have worked... Well when I click the java file it prompts me to plug in the DDJ RX So I am hoping its done the job, all I can decide is that the computer I am using at home must be missing some core features from windows 10 when I upgraded it, it is an older unit after all. Thanks guys for all you're suggestions, lets keep our fingers crossed. Thanks
