No audio to Soundcard since RB 4.0.4

Hi guys,

So i upgraded to version 4.0.4. this weekend and all of the sudden i can't get any audio to my external soundcard. Had no problems with previous versions. Worked fine on El Capitein before version 4.0.4. 

The audio does go to the mac's internal soundcard. Headphone jack works fine as well. I can select my soundcard in the options menu within recordbox. And the audio track plays in the wavefrom view. The channels are set to the correct ones i double checked. And i also checked the samplerate its set at 44.1Khz on my soundcard.

Macbook pro(9,2) mid 2012 @ OSX El Capitein 10.11

Motu 828 MK3 Soundcard [firewire]

I tried getting the latest driver for the soundcard however still no effect. The soundcard does work. Itunes/soundcloud/quicktime all work fine on the motu soundcard. 

Anybody an idea what i could try? Could i also downgrade?
