Drifting tracks

Hi everyone,

I am a girl new to dj-ing but i seem to have a bit of an issue with the xdj-rx.
I have seen many posts on other websites on drifting issues but I would rather ask my question here. I will try to explain as best as I can but since im new to dj-ing it may be hard to understand.

I just bought my xdi-rx in September and i upgraded the software to the 1.8 version. That's when i started to have issues. When i play 2 tracks at the same time, not synced but manually putting the bpm on the same levels, say 121.00 after a couple of seconds (20 or so) the tracks wil begin to drift out of time. Also when i use sync to put both tracks on the same bpm, they still will drift out of time after a while. This problem is very confusing to me because this means i can't practice well and my joy in playing is gone. I already checked the beat grids in rekordbox and they seem to be all fine. Also, i put the analyse on normal in stead of dynamic (which could have explained why sometimes the bpm goes up 0.2 or so without me touching anything.

I've heard it could be the problem of not having 2 decimals on the xdi-rx so one track could be 121.09 and the other 121.07, but i don't believe this should be the real problem. I hope this problem can be fixed soon, because i really want to play again. And i don't want to adjust the track every 20 seconds for it to be in sync.

I also addressed it to the firm i have bought my xdj-rx, they keep on telling me its because of the tracks or rekordbox. I rather think its a problem with the firmware. I hope you guys can give me some answers! Thanks in advance :)

I also encountered that issue and figured out that you have to manually fix the grids to be on time with whatever tracks that you're mixing.  It can take some time to figure out exactly how to use the software, but once you do it's fantastic.  Just be patient and really prepare the tracks in Rekordbox and use the performance mode to make all necessary adjustments before you mix in the XDJRX.

I noticed this a while back and after having a months worth of music imported to RKB I were getting beats going out of sync, but just from my latest folder. Make sure your import setting are set to normal and not dynamic, as dynamic setting is for processing beats that say a drummer has played that naturally goes in and out of sync unlike electronic music which is a fixed tempo...

Am facing the same issue here... will check the import setting etc as the tracks appear to have correct beat grids when I review them in 'Export' mode - yet when played in 'Performance' mode using RBDJ they drift like crazy (even worse if you try to use loops)!
