Yes, because you've effectively created another loop (the slip loop), so the main loop is now void.

Slip loop (padfx) behavior while in active loop
during an active loop when pressing the slip loop it deactivates the loop. is this intentional? i'm expecting this to stay in active loop mode after using slip loop (padfx).
