Hello:
I am using Rekordbox 4.0.6 in a Windows 8.1 with a DDJ RX Controller (with the last firmware available). My computer it's a i7 processor with 12 Gb of Ram Memory. In performance mode with 4 decks when you have more than 2 songs playing at tthe same time the channel level indicator and the master level goes vere very slow (sometimes the four indicators and the master stops showing them). Also, when you have 4 songs at the same time the DDJ RX stop working (if you play the sync button, the effects or pad fx for example they don't work).
This are the steps to reproduce the problem:
-put the rekordbox in performance mode with 4 decks horizontal
-load a song into deck 1 and press play
-load a song into deck 3 and press play (here all works perfect)
-load a song into deck 2 and press play (here you can see the problem)
-load a song into deck 4 and press play (if you try to put some effect or cue or something, the DDJ RX don't work).
If you stop the deck 2 and 4 all come back to the normal activity and all work perfect. How can I fix it? It's a bug?
If you need a video I can record it.
Thanks

I've got same issue. when i set buffer size to maximum it goes away. funny thing is that on a lot less capable laptop it works perfect on 480 samples (10ms). also just to add laptop version of Rekordbox is 4.0.5 and PC version is 4.0.6 (the one i'm having trouble with) both running windows 10.
Maybe it's a problem with the 4.0.6 version. It's possible to make a downgrade to a 4.0.5?
Stuart, I put the bufer size to 1664 (37.7 msec) and all work's perfect. Many thanks!. What it's the best value for the buffer size? Maybe the 4.0.6 version needs a big buffer to work correctly with the controller.
to be brutally honest i have no idea. it just seems strange that i have a lower powered laptop and it runs great with lower buffer size.
look at page 201 regarding buffer size in rekordbox manual
For the moment I'm going to set the buffer to 1664 (I've got the Spanish version of Rekorbox manual and buffer size don't appear). Maybe Pionner can get us an official answer and how to adjust it correctly. Thanks for all Stuart.
Hi. Got this Prob since 4 Weeks, or so

Solution for me, Buffer at 20 ms with a max. of 3 Decks
Iceley
With 20 ms with 4 decks I have a little latency. Form me and 4 decks 37 ms is the solution.
37ms? yikes that will be noticible for a lot of folks.
Wasn't RB supposed to have the lowest latency int the industry? :|
With 2 decks 10ms are enough. But with 4 decks at the same time it's imposible with this latency. Maybe in next versions of RB Pionner decides to improve this. Anyway, making a normal mixing (with no scracthing) 37 ms is not a bad value. But I agree with Harry: "RB the lowest latency"...
Thanks guys, the current work-around is to increase the buffer size, but we've asked the engineers to see if they can improve the performance aspect of the illumination output with lower buffer / latency settings.
Engineers expect that this will be addressed in the next update - please test again once 4.0.7 is released!
Hello all! I tested with 4.0.7 version with 14.5 msec and 4 decks at the same time. All perfect! Good joob Pioneer and thanks to the engineers.
I'm hearing you good work
