Try increasing your buffer size. In Preferences, select the Audio tab, drag the Buffer size slider to the right until you no longer have sound issues.
I use a DDJ-RX with Rekordbox 4 and have recently been having issues with sound lag and drops.
I dunno who to blame, if it is my laptop (high end), DDJ-RX or Rekordbox.
But the Time out Drop meter is bouncing like hell back and forth, leaving out some distorted / drop sounds.
This has happend more frequently since the last update.

Thanks, will try it when I get home.
Will reply this thread if it works.
I have the same protblem here. I have 2x CDJ2000NXS and a DJM 2000. I notice when I am not using the EFX section & Coulor FX section in Rekordbox DJ it working fine and stable. But when I useing the FX en CFX than the CPU meter goes to a quater of the meter rekordbox DJ still playing fine. Than I going to use the encoder of me CDJ to search for another track audio dropouts will appear. It only happens when I use my FX or CFX section a little time before. If I don't use the FX or CFX section it won't happen. It seems that it is a buffer problem.
