sending midi data to a laptop while using the cdj as normal

Hi

I need to sync visuals from a macbook with backtracks played from a CDJ 2000

So i  would like to know if it's possible to get midi data from a CDJ 2000 while it is in the "normal" mode.

The visuals are already made so they are in sync with the tracks, so i only need need data like "start/stop" "next track" etc

I'm a VJ and have never touched a CDJ before. I can see that's its easy to link the cdj to dj software, but i can't really figure out if it's possible to do what i want.

Sorry, the CDJ doesn't transmit that data over USB unless the player is in MIDI mode. If you are technically inclined, you could sniff the ethernet data to find the bits of information needed to trigger applications such as Resolume... but you'll need to be a serious tech head to figure it out as Pioneer has not released that information to the public.
