If you are running Serato DJ with video then you would control playback with the CDJs in HID mode. Are you using Scratch Live or DJ and is the 900 a SRT or NXS?

Using Serato to VJ with CDJ 2000s & Pioneer DJM 900 Mixer
Hi y'all! So I've seen videos of Armin Van Buren's setup where he uses resolume to trigger video while djing off his cdjs but I was wondering if anyone had any tips to do this strictly using Serato? I've found a video or two but not much, any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Armin actually uses a really complex setup for his tours where his front-of-house (FOH) is running software capable of decoding the Pro DJ LINK communications between his players and the mixer. As a result, all of his visuals are able to start and stop with his playback from the CDJs.
I've got a friend how uses Resolume, I'm waiting to hear back from him on how he integrates it with Serato video.
