2) OS Type: 64bit
3) rekordbox version: 4.0.8
4) Using LINK: Yes
4b) LINK Connection method: XDJ 1000 directly to ethernet port on laptop
4c) Using with CDJs: Yes, XDJ 1000 firmware version 1.05

8) Is rekordbox crashing at all: No
8a) If crashing, is it resulting in: an error message OR a crash log OR both (DO NOT POST YOUR CRASH LOG UNLESS REQUESTED!)
8b) If not crashing, are there any error messages: No
9) Are you able to repeat / reproduce the problem: Yes
9a) If yes, can you do it consistently: Yes
10) Does the problem occur with one specific song: No
10a) If yes, please post a link to it:
11) Any other notes regarding your setup only: ASUS laptop running windows 10 with i7 processor and 6GB RAM
12) Provide as much detail of the issue here:

When connecting the XDJ to rekordbox, the Link button appears. After clicking the Link button, the Link becomes active and the player appears in the centre at the bottom of the screen (as '1') but I am unable to browse my rekordbox library from the player. In the 'Utility' screen on the XDJ, the LINK status is 'connected', however if I open 'LINK INFO' on the player it says NO CONNECTION. Dragging and dropping files onto the the player in rekordbox does nothing.

I have disabled all firewalls and nothing seems to work. I only purchased the player a few days ago, managed to get it working, and then overnight the LINK stopped working.

Have you verified that your ethernet connection is set to HOME or WORK (a PRIVATE network type)? This is a common complaint when the connection is set to PUBLIC. See that support article you grabbed the questions from for a link to instructions on checking that configuration.

Yes, I had already changed the connection to Private. I managed to resolve the issue earlier today. If rekordbox is using ASIO4ALL or my Roland interface as the output for audio prior to activating LINK then the LINK does not work. However if I set the output to 'Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)' and then activate LINK it works perfectly. Weird considering rekordbox is normally happy to output audio through ASIO4ALL or the Roland Duo Capture, just seems to interfere with LINK.
