Suggestion (rekordbox) and question (ddj-sb2)

Hi,

The question first: Can we map the ddj-sb2 to slicer mode?

Suggestion, is it possible to use relocate (for missing tracks after moving a folder) by folder instead of track or better yet, the tracks being recognized on the import?

With the major lag analyzing the tracks (reported already) is not practical to do it again (takes too much time). Then again, relocate 2000 songs one by one is insane too.

@Tiago > As there are a limited number of pads on the SB2, there is currently no function for slicer control on that controller.

Relocating can be done by pointing to the first song, provided you have moved all your music in the same "scope;" if you have made multiple folder moves, then you need to relocate by those batches, but if you simply moved the entire collection, you only need to find one song and the rest can relocate if you have selected your entire collection when using the relocate function.

I'm pretty sure I've tried that as I recall one of the folders having 4 songs (ordered in the missing list) in the same folder.

I had to select one by one and their respective "target" locations and obviously I moved the whole folder.

If it is supposed to work like that, than it is either bugged or i'm missing something.

In any case this was all inside the same parent folder and it would be easier to just have a "rescan"/"keep track of changes" in the import folders option as others do.

I hope Pioneer accepts this suggestion :)

I hope you can find a way for us to use the slicer (maybe by using both left and right pads, if possible.

Thanks for replying.
