Adjusting grids on xdj-rx - loops affected as well?

If I adjust the beat grid "live" on the xdj rx, do the loops I have set in rekordbox adjust with the grid? i.e. If I have made a loop in rekordbox, is it going to be out of time if I adjust the grid on the xdj-rx, so that it is in time with the track that is playing? 

I've found this to be the easiest way of syncing up tracks, especially if I'm using the sync function - one small adjustment at the start of the track, and it's usually synced up for the rest of the song. 

Apologies if that made no sense, I'll try and explain it better if that's the case!
