Hello! It's been some months since Rekordbox started to have performance mode and it gets better and better from version to version. I am a DDJ-RZ user and I have to purpose some ideas for future versions and some bugfixes.
1) we definetely need a sound card for timecode cdjs and vinyl players.
2) I noticed that when you are in pause mode in a deck and you press a hotcue you have to press the cue button to mark it. Maybe an option to autocue with hotcues when in pause mode would be useful.
3) A major problem! Rekordbox can't see my partition drive of my Hard Disk neither in performane or the export mode. You have to do something with this and for the explorer tree that can se a new drive or flash when play in performance mode. Create a folder tree that can see what system laptops tree can see in real time. This creates lots of trouble sometimes especially when you play at a party or a wedding.
4) a good search box. Search box only shows up when you are in the main collection folder or inside a playlist. It has to be shown everywhere just like other dj programs.
5) when creating playlists you must go deeper inside playlist subfolders and not only a folder and inside of it playlists but to create subplaylists of playlists.
6) Maybe an app that could take all of your collection and syncronize all of your folders as playlists inside rekordbox and auto update when you add new songs. I think many of the users especially TRAKTOR & VIRTUAL DJ would appreciate this feature.
7) A panel with screens such as Numarks Dashboard ( https://serato.com/latest/blog/18436/announcing-numark-dashboard-official-serato-accessory ) would be a great idea because you can take your eyes away from your laptop which is really annoying but nececary when you need to have all of your collection with you.
8) I pluged in my ddj wego and after hours of my gig Rekordbox had an audio dropout for about 3 seconds and the wayform stopped running for these three seconds.
9) I have noticed that the folder and song tree are heavy to move with mouse and a little luggy.
Please do your best! These were the things and ideas I had to say and I have faith to Pioneer that can create them or Fix them! Thank you and keep up the good work...!
