CDJ 2000 Nexus Quantize issue

Sometimes when I enter a loop on my one of my CDJ's the beat gets off as if quantize isn't on. I always spin with quantize to avoid this issue but lately even when quantize is on my CDJ's won't quantize so if I loop or slip the beat gets off substantially. Ive tried everything to fix this issue, I've reloaded my settings, I turn quantize off and then back on to see if it will reset, I've checked the beat grids on all my songs to make sure they are consistent. Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

Are you using sync when this occurs?

No i don't use sync

The timing clocks between CDJs can vary and when using SYNC, they are aligned. The reason you're experiencing a difference between the looping and the playing track has to do with the accuracy of the loops and timing between decks, even when using a properly beat-gridded track and quantize.

Please try using the SYNC and you'll likely find they remain more consistent.
