Send/ Return on AUX to Channel NOT WORKING

Hello all. It would seem that the Send/ Return works great with my RMX-1000 on INSERT mode. But it would appear that when I slide the 'Return Type' switch over to AUX, and then try to assign any of the channels 1-4 to Return AUX, I don't get any signal, and the blue light on the Send Return ON/OFF does not light.

Is this a firmware issue? Or is my unit defective? Or am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated, I'm on the latest 1.09 Firmware now ;)

First, verify that your send/return cables are connected properly - I've seen DJs connect them in reverse and while it may work for a loop, it won't work for the AUX.

Set the effect channel selector to CH1 with audio playing on that channel.

Turn the CH2 input selector to RETURN AUX and ensure the channel trim is not all the way down.

Set the RETURN TYPE to AUX.

Press the ON/OFF button for the SEND/RETURN.

Check that your RMX has signal being input and output, you should also see signal on CH2.
