Flight Recommendations for Ddj-RX

Hi,

Currently I'm living in Australia and next month I'm returning home. I bought mi Ddj-rx here and, of course, I want to take it home as well. I bought the following Pioneer hard case becuase the controller is too big and I will not be able to take it as carry-on. 

Do you recommend to use a deck saver as well? Should I wrap the case in the airport also for security? Any tips or advise of previous experience? How can I protect the knobs if the case is stored downwards?
