Sounds like a ground loop
Hey guys,
I have a problem with my new DDJ-RZ. As soon as I connect it to my speakers, theres a annoying noise in the background. I didn't had this problem with my ddj-sx2 or any other devices.
If I plug in the usb-cable the noise gets louder.
Are there any settings where I can fix that?

Sounds like a ground loop
@Elia > Try swapping out the power cable. Also, try using a different outlet.
I noticed the same problem. If I use XLR from the master out to the XLR connections on my powered speakers then no humming sound at all.
If I use the jack master out there's a bad hum/hard drive interference if I run my laptop from AC power. Unplug the laptop AC and the hum goes away.
Is the jack master out a balanced output? The interference would suggest not, as the XLR connection doesn't get any interference.
There's only XLR or RCA Master Out on the RZ, the Booth Out is 1/4 jack. Be sure to use balanced (TRS) cables if you're going to use the Booth Out.
I'm using balanced TRS cables for Booth Out on my RZ and I doesn't hear any background noise.

Power conditioner should solve this problem
