FolgenCDJ 2000 E-7001 Error
Hi,
I have two CDJ 2000 players. I just updated to firmware 4.33 (I know a while to update). One of the players updated completely perfectly however the other displayed a message which read "main firmware file is corrupt". I did what seemed to be obvious and reformatted the USB and downloaded the update files again to the root of the USB and retried the update. It seemed to work fine this time as the previous message did not display again.
BUT! The player is now displaying the error from the title - E-7001 Disk Drive Error. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY PLAYER?!?!?
I am a little disappointed as I have been a pioneer customer for years now always upgrading and unfortunately this is the second error I have had with a 2000. The first one was a CPU error which conveniently happened just after the 'warranty' period so cost me $600.
So yes this does mean this player is not under warranty but I am hoping there is some sort of master reset. I have done a bit of research and havent been able to find one. I am looking for a solution/fix that I will not have to pay for as I do not believe this is a user created issue.
URGENT REPLY IS APPRECIATED!
