Please help DDj SR connection
Hi I have just purchased a second hand ddj sr,
it looks immaculate and it lights up fine when plugged into my Mac book pro, on Yosimite.
but I can not get it to register a connection, I have tried 3 different cables midi window showing no data, but will register data when i plug in my other midi key boards.
Please help understand i have purchased secondhand but I have a studio full of pioneer equipment i have purchased over the years.
If this is hardware, what are my options to getting it fixed.

Yes i downloaded all of them,
Lucky the guy has taken the controller back, as it would not register a connection on 3 different computers 4 different cables,
The guys said it works fine on his computer,
I took it to a specialist who purchases your service manuls and it seems because he updated the firm ware and the device has no DEFAULT to factory settings it means the controller is some what locked to his computer, to fix it as there is no re programming would mean id have to spend another $290
Why would pioneer make such a product?? that locks it if firm wear had been updated not only that why not just have a factory default setting??
My nokia from the 90's has a default.
I'm just glad I had a honest buyer who drove 1 hour to give me my money back.
Thnaks for your response, I heard nothing back from Pioneer.
