Some questions about the RX

Hi guys, yesterday i've recieved my RX! Amazing piece of equipment i must say.

I do have some questions though.

Where is the bar count? I would like to see if i'm on the 4th/8th bar for some easier visual beatmatching.

Auto play when pressing a hotcue. This one is quite annoying to be honest, when my track is on pause and i press a hotcue i start playing, so i have to manually go back to set my cue. How can i change this?

When beatmatching 2 tracks, the red lines (beatgrid) sometimes is a bit off, but the beats are 100% matched. I've checked rekordbox and did set the beatgrid on the right positions, is this a bug?

Thanks guys!

I am no expert, but here are my thoughts.

Auto play when pressing a hotcue.

Thats the point of a hot cue. It plays immediately synced to the beat. If you want it to pause at a point then select the cue you want from the Cue/Loop Call left and right buttons. You will see on the position on the display and press Play when you are ready.

When beatmatching 2 tracks, the red lines (beatgrid) sometimes is a bit off

I've noticed this when I nudge a track and the sync button flashes or goes out to warn you the RX isn't in control of beat matching anymore. But you may be manually beat matching so its probably irrelevant.

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah that's the point of a hotcue while the track is playing. If i remember correctly on my DDJ-SX it wouldn't automaticly play.

I beatmatch manually, but i like to have a visual helper sometimes.

The reason it wouldn't automatically play on the SX was because it was running Serato, and their hot cues follow the play mode of the deck. The RX follows traditional CDJ hot cue performance, which is to play automatically.

The bar count is only a count-down to a memory point.

If the beat grid is correct within rekordbox, it should be correct on the XDJ.

"The bar count is only a count-down to a memory point."

Can't i change this? I really like the way it looks in rekordbox. Or will there be an update for this sometime?
