@Richard > It could be you have a problematic file in your collection causing the crash; please try exporting half as many files as when the problem occurred. If it happens again, reduce the export by half again, repeating until you find the single file which causes the error.

@Smurf > Do you have more than 13 files already on the device? It could be that rekordbox is updating the collection on the USB drive to include the additional data for CDJ-2000NXS2 support, which means copying several additional files per track already on the device. If that's the case, the reason the export is slow is entirely based on the performance of your USB drive. Please see this USB drive speed test survey thread to include some data so we can gather information on what DJs are using. Thanks!

I really don't see why we the User should be wasting their time trying to find the single file that could be causing a problem when everything was working fine with previous Rekordbox versions.

And the worse bit is their's no rollback....

i wish the NXS2 info wasnt pretty much forced on us to be updated, seems to be causing issues we don't need right now, the NXS2's are so far out from most users even seeing them or using them live

ahh man, that's ridiculous, having to update every file on the USB for NXS2 support. I was exporting to a 64G SD card, gave up and had to use old fashioned CD's for Friday's gig.

I'll run those USB tests today

@Richard > Please see if there's a rekordbox folder in your Documents folder; within you may find a transfer log, please post if there is an error in that export.

@Richard > The update for NXS2 should not have affected any beat grids, did you change the waveform from half to full or Blue to RGB?
