will pioneer release updated version of the ddjsr sometime this year?

@Nonya > Pioneer is always working on "the next thing," and unfortunately it's not like Apple on a set schedule, so we don't release any information prior to the big announcements. One thing you can always watch for is international trade shows, as product releases tend to land around those events.

On a personal note, if you're in the market for DJ gear and now's the time you need to buy gear, then buy it. If you wait, you'll always be in a position of waiting in case something newer comes out. If you're unsure, consider renting or buying used, or buy new and then re-sell it if/when a newer model that suits you better arrives on scene.
