DDJ-SX - DJM-900NXS2

Hi, i know this is a weird setup but im trying to record through serato with my new mixer and old controller for the mean time till i get CDJ's or other controllers. Can i record the effects sent out from my DJM-900NXS2 throught my controller running serato??

OLAH Anthony. I haven't got your DJ Set to check all possibilities to do that you say here, but...

I guess you've got the controller DDJ-SX with Serato plus a DJM-900Nxs. If it is the case:

I think you can DJIng with the controller (with serato in laptop) and then you connect the DDJ Master Output to an input from DJM-900Nxs like a external source to add the DJM-900Nxs FXs and then send the DJM Output to a recorder...

perhaps exists the possibility to connect the DJM-900Nxs like a Unit FX but i can't check this point now.

I hope you understanded me...Lol

Take care,

@Anthony > If you're running the audio from the SX into the DJM, the best way to record the audio back to your computer would be to run another software application in the background set to capture the audio from the DJM's soundcard.

Audacity is free and fairly easy to use ... or you could even record into QuickTime (if you have a Mac).
