XDJ-RX: USB Record Gain

Hi!

I've just recorded my first mix on my XDJ-RX via the USB Master Record function and when I listened to it afterwards, I realised that the recording was massively distorted.

I experimented a little and it seems that the only way you could change the overall volume of the recording was the trim knobs on the mixer channel (the master level knob and the "Master Att." setting didn't affect the recording). The strange thing is that I played with the trim knobs at 50% so I wasn't clipping at all during the mix.

Are there any plans to integrate a "Recording gain" setting into the firmware? It would fit right into the utility settings and it would be great to have different gain choices such as -6, -9 and -12db.

Record low, stay in the green because the recording is hot and will clip

if you go into amber.  Keep using the trim knobs and not the master volume

to get the levels right.  I use audacity to normalize and amplify, make any adjustments

to the recording, and it's as close to perfect as I can get.
