Maybe it is a sign to not install it until next version which will fix everything wrong with this version.

anyone have any steps on connecting the XDJ-RX in HID mode? I've connected via USB cable, clicked the MIDI button and don't see any wav forms. I feel like I'm missing a few steps as it is a different type of device than regular CDJ2000Nexus . 

i have the same problem, no wave form or browser showed on xdj rx... i olso noticed that i cant use none of beat fx or sound color fx... olso the midi option cant see my xdj rx and there is no option to add/learning mapp ... xdj rx utility shouldnt have HID Setting like on a cdj???...

Can someone please confirm that the only way of using the new rekordbox DJ with the XDJ RX is by also using a laptop or PC?

I have lost all visual flashing in midi mode, none of the lights indicate what is happening from CUE/ play to effects to even headphone channel.

Is there anyway to roll back to 1.80 until this is updated again?
