@Khalif > If you have tested it as a stand-alone mixer and it exhibits these issues, it sounds like it could be a hardware flaw. Send it back to the retailer for an exchange if it's only a week old.
I have my crossfader curve set to the max but why when I engage the crossfader I have to basically push it to the middle for it to engage. If i'm going from left to right, it has an extra 1cm of space before it engages the right track and if i'm going right to left it's 1.8cm before the left track engages. I just brought this unit brand new from zzounds.com and I have receipts to prove it. everything is flawless about this controller except the crossfader and that raises a HUGE PROBLEM with me. I've had it for a week so far and i'm about to send it back to zzounds.com and get my refund because the crossfader basically has a mind of it's own. I had the 1st gen Numark NS7 and NEVER had these problems but later on down the line, I ran into some issue's with Numark. Now i'm thinking that I could of saved myself a few dollars and brought the NS7III. all of the features on the DDJ-SZ are amazing but to have a MAJOR problem with the crossfader!!! makes me SERIOUSLY reconsider promoting your product. Is there a resolution for this issue or should I just cut my loss with spending thousands of dollars with your company???? please let me know before my tour. thank you in advance...

i've had it for 3 weeks roughly, is there any possibility of sending it to pioneer to be serviced? im going to call the retailer I've purchased the unit from to see if they will honor an exchange since it's been about 3 weeks already.
@Khalif > Some retailers will do it up to 1 month, but for others it's 2 weeks. You may get faster response from them rather than trying to have it serviced by Pioneer. Try the retailer first, if not, Pioneer technical support contacts are here.
