This should be a pretty simple question to answer, and I'm sure it has been addressed elsewhere but I haven't been able to find it. I would like to be able to play vocal samples (mostly excerpts of movie dialogue) while mixing on two decks. What hardware would you recommend for this task, keeping in mind that I would be connecting it to my DJM900NXS2 and that I wouldn't really need the hardware to do anything other than what is described above. Appreciate your input!

What I do is utilize the USB Send/Return of the mixer by connecting my iPad to it and assigning send/return to Deck 4. So long as you're using an app that's compatible with inter-app audio (or audiobus), you can use the iPad to trigger sounds. Works like a dream.
Other than exporting them to a USB from rekordbox and loading them onto one of the CDJs, the iPad app is really a decent option. Even if it doesn't support Audio Bus, you could simply get a 1/8"-to-RCA cable and connect it to one of the inputs.
