XDJ-RX USB reading issues

I normally work woth CDJ's and always export through Rekordbox. At a recent event I was informed that they had a XDJ-RX unit and after some research I agreed to use it.

Insterted my USB and the unit responed that there was no Rekordbox data on it.

Tried my backup USB and all seemes good. But after a while some covers didn't load properly, then I started to get "file missing" errors when I tried to load certain songs and finally the unit froze in a "loading" state. Restared it and all went back to normal, songs that was "missing" played fine and the covers were visible.

Has anyone else experienced this? I work every week and NEVER had any issues with my USB's. Noteworthy is that the unit after restart still couldn't read the Rekordbox data on my first USB. At home I checked it and it loaded perfectly on my CDJ 900 Nexuses.

99% AIFF's, all analyzed, memory points and loops, no hot cues.

Sounds like the same teething problems i had when the RX was in early stages of release... Many of those errors were fixed within firmware updates.. Would be interesting to know what firmware was on there...

It was the latest firmware, checked it when my gig was over.

Supertalent Pico 32GB. This brand and model has worked flawlessly since 6 years in CDJ 850, 900, 2000, 900 Nexus, 2000 Nexus, several times a week. Formatted in HFS+

Can you clone that drive to another USB stick and test the same data? I don't mean re-export the data from rekordbox, I mean to use a cloning software to make an exact copy on a different brand USB drive.

Anyone in the Berlin area with a RX? I could pop by with a few beers, play some music and hopefully shed some light over this :)

I have an update to this. The event  I played at last weekend had an RX, I reluctantly agreed to use it, popped in my USB-stick and it didn't find any rekordbox data. But I also brought a FAT32 formatted stick (same brand) with the same content, played fine and didn't loose artwork or files over time. I always use HFS for my sticks so there's your problem, the RX doesn't play well with HFS formatted sticks, or at least mine.
