Nope, the sync works so long as your tracks are prepared by rekordbox.

Beat sync from usb stick?
Hi guys,
maybe I am a little to stupid but may it be that the beatsync function is only working when connected to the pc software?
Atm I have an USB stick connected but when I press the sync button the left and the right track is running out of sync all the time. Did I something wrong? Maybee a noob question but I would be happy if someone could explain what to do to make it work.
When I take a look into the beat grids in rekordbox everything seems to fit.

Did I something wrong maybe? I added mp3 files to the rekordbox and they were analyzed automatically. Afterwards I moved them to the USB stick into rekordbox. Most of the tracks are running out of beat sync. Do you have an idea what I have to check?

If the beat grids were aligned properly within rekordbox, the exported tracks will have the same grid. If you have QUANTIZE enabled, when you press PLAY with SYNC enabled, it will snap to the beat. Do you have SYNC enabled on both decks (one selected as master)?
