Both my CDJ 2000 NXS2 Units, which I just purchased a few days ago are exhibiting this same problem. I have also updated the firmware to the newest (1.40). Specifically, the Background Color and Wave Form Color Change under My Settings is inactive, & is not allowing me to change the colors whatsoever. They show up but are lighter in font, and are not allowing me to click on them as an option with my rotary dial. Any solutions to this?

have you updated the track info in Rekordbox for it to have the new data it needs? You need to go into Rekordbox and select all your tracks,right click and choose "add new analysis data" so it gets what it needs for the new decks, update to the latest Rekordbox version and do this and try again
