CDJ 900 NEXUS UPDATE.

When Pioneer will release a new update for the CDJ 900 nexus ?? It could be implemented expand button to better the CDJ screen display!

Pioneer apparently abandoned the product cdj 900 nexus, excellent equipment but is being forgotten by the manufacturer.

The CDJ-900 nexus is not being forgotten.  It is an amazing product that does exactly what it was designed to do.  To my knowledge, there are currently no plans to update the CDJ-900 nexus, as updates are mainly issued for bug fixes and software compatibility issues.

Mark Gallo but the pioneer could at least give an improved screen, freeing up more space for the waveform, entering the expanding screen for a better view button. (Perform mode screen)

When you say "update," do you mean a complete hardware overhaul (i.e. a CDJ-900NXS2) or do you mean an update to the the CDJ-900NXS firmware that would enable the screen expansion/perform mode you referenced?

If the later, I'm willing to wager that there's simply too much of a difference "under the hood" of the newer XDJ/CDJ line for the CDJ-900NXS to be updated via firmware to gain some of the modern functionality. A bi-product of Moore's Law perhaps. :)

Personally, and this is purely my own speculation, I have a feeling that next significant release will be a hybrid of the XDJ-1000MK2 and the CDJ-2000NXS2. Specifically, an XDJ that retains the majority of the physical buttons of the CDJ, but is absent of SD card slot and CD drive with an MSRP around $1,700. It will probably lack a a couple things the 2000 has just for marketing/seller's sake (ex: illuminated "on-air" platter ring, platter), but will essentially be a CDJ-2000NXS2, sans the CDJ part. :)

Again, the above mentioned is purely speculation.

Cheers.
