I actually just experienced the same exact crash this guy experienced in his video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5l9bz0b0Ds) twice in the middle of my last night. I was playing off the same Sandisk USB FAT32 Drive as I use every week since I've owned these for several months.
It wasn't the usb because funny enough I was playing music on the other CDJ from the same USB using the link cable and only one of the CDJs were frozen up. Basically the track froze, could navigate some menus, but had to reboot because the play/pause buttons weren't doing anything and actually trying to use track selection was bringing up an error. The files themselves weren't bad because I've played the songs many times before on the same CDJs.
Is there a firmware update that specifically addressed this issue or do I need to send in my CDJ NXS2 for warranty repair?

Ok, will do. Thank you.
I updated to 1.40 from 1.30 when this bug was happening and it happened again still last week. It's always the same CDJ. Other one is working fine. I caught it on video this time... https://youtu.be/MfT_qQfH9N0
