Sorry for the delayed response. Have you got this sorted yet?
Hello! At random occasions traktor tells me that the right channel of my other deck is missing. It was always the left deck, so I decided to swap the CDJ'saroun (not the cables just the CDJ's) and seems like the problem is in the CDJ itself since now the problem occurs in the right deck @ traktor. Fiddling the RCA cables in the CDJ seem to have no effect. So im asking if anybody here would have any idea what might cause it? Im thinking about the RCA connectors in the CDJ itself. But trying to figure out for possible solutions before I do anything or take it to service. The sound itself doesnt cut, I just cant control the deck anymore. One thing I havent tried yet is to just hook the CDJ directly to my mixer (or anything) and see if the right channels dissappears at any time. The problem just is that I cant seem to repeat the problem, its completely random and sometimes i can mix an hour without having it. Any ideas? Cheers, Heikki

Hello! Sadly no. I havent been mixing for a few weeks either tho. I probably should open the CDJ and see if anything seems to be loose... Do you know if its possible to change parts inside? I wonder if i can order parts somewhere without having to take it to authorized service...
We strongly advise that users NOT disassemble and/or repair any Pioneer DJ products themselves.
There are a few steps you can take to determine exactly what the problem is. You have already narrowed it down to one particular CDJ. Have you tried using a different set of RCA cables? Another thing you can try is using a bit of electrical contact cleaner on the CDJ's RCA connections. If these steps do not work, please contact your nearest authorized repair center to have your CDJ professionally serviced.
Yeah I have tried a different set of RCA cables. I also switched the CDJ's around and kept the RCA cables in place, so its for sure not about the RCA cables. I actually just bought brand new cables. Ill try the contact cleaner. My studio can be a bit dusty at times and especially since i have to keep the window open during summer....
