Need Help With Equipment for Mac

Hello, I have a Macbook Air. All of my music (40k+ tracks) are on an external hard drive i plug in through the USB. I was looking at the DDJ-200 and wanted to know if this would work with my set up. I would need to plug it into the system at the bar/club i'm djing at,  be able to pre-cue, and make sure it is picking up the tracks on my external hard drive. Would this be the right product for me?
