No you can't. That said, what I do when I find a poor quality track is give it a one star rating. After the gig, I'll sort the collection Rekordbox using the ratings and can delete the lot.
Cheers.
since you guys have NXS2's also let me ask this, you ever see a small freeze in the deck, audio and all cutting out for a second after hitting hot cue B and letting it play a few seconds? this happens to me at least once every gig
I've not experienced such a freeze. Is it happening at random for you? Also, are you using a flash/external hdd or a direct connection to RekordBox on your laptop?
always random, on tracks I play all the time with no issue, played a track last night I always play and the deck froze for 2 seconds after hitting "B", very weird and not reproducible, I have been trying all morning and now I can't get it to freeze of course but I know come Friday at my next gig some random track will freeze
this is off USB (don't play off anything else). Same USB and tracks I have been using with the Nexus 1 and never had this issue, the only change has been the decks
I know this seems like the obvious answer, but perhaps try migrating the data from your current USB flash drive to a new one. I've had instances where USB flash drives began to display odd behavior and eventually required a complete reformatting–only to display similar signs of degradation shortly thereafter.
Worst case scenario: you have an extra USB drive to use as a backup. Best case scenario: the freezing disappears. It's a win-win. :-)
in the same session though I practice the mix in my headphones perfect, no freezing, then I do the mix and it freezes, the track is already buffered into the player so the USB would not play a factor at that point (I would believe)
yes!!! was able to reproduce it, you will see it freeze in this video at :23, the video did not freeze, its the player, lol

then after the freeze I can play the track and do the same steps with no freezing, its very random, then I go back to play previous tracks and the deck collapses, literally, can't log any tracks
Nice! Glad you were able to capture it.
I see exactly what you mean and that is certainly strange. @Pulse @Mark or one of the mods may chime in. In the meantime, I would setup a support ticket with Pioneer and include a link to this Dropbox video.
yes, I had put a ticket in a few weeks back and they thought maybe 1.50 may have fixed it but it did not, hopefully they see my update to that ticket and continue to hammer away on it, I gave them all the info including the file I was playing
@Brichi,nice capture of the video,,This happened to me once a while back ago and i thought it was the internet connection because it did not do it anymore, thanks for catching this one in case in a random moment in front of 300-400 people it happens to me i know to have something ready to play before a complete freeze not being able to play a track, hopefully they can sort this one out.
no problem, glad I'm not the only one, hopefully the engineers get this fixed
Since it's their flagship product, I have no doubt it will be fixed sooner than later. Pioneer's track record as of late has been quite solid with regards to rapid-fire releases of updates/fixes.
Cheers.
