DJM 900nexus USB

Hi,

Mac Book Pro 13"

Sierra

El Capitan DJM Utility

DJM900nexus

When the mixer is connected through USB to mac book it shows as connected in the pioneer utility. However the mixer does not become visible in either Ableton, Recordbox or the 'sound' utility in mac settings. 

Have un installed and re-installed the El Capitan DJM900 utility driver and still nothing? Am starting to think its a hardware issue? 

Please help.
