You could get away with just a simple RCA/phono 'Y' Splitter used in reverse (ie 2 in to 1 out), but it's not recommended. A simple mixer is a better way to do it, plug left and right out of your RX into two channels on the mixer, then take single output from the mixer to the active speaker. Something like this would be perfect: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Behringer-MX400-Micromix-Noise-Channel/dp/B000KGYAYQ/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1EKDFKV295W84&keywords=behringer+mixer&qid=1691671022&sprefix=behringer+mixer%2Caps%2C87&sr=8-4

Using RX3 to DJ with one powered/active speaker
Hi -
I have a basic question that I'd like help getting an answer to.
I'm DJing an upcoming event and only want to rent 1 powered speaker (likely QSC K12) to save space and also $$. What I'm trying to understand is the proper way to connect the RX3 with a stereo output to a single speaker.
What happens if I only connect the R side of the RX3 to the input of the monitor? Will I only get the sound from the right deck? Or is there a way to change the output to Mono?
any guidance on how best to setup with 1 speaker would be much appreciated!
