Tidal unable to log in on rekordbox

I'm on RB 6.7.7 and I am able to sign into tidal successfully (browser pop up), however rekordbox never logs in...

The layout window remains the same with the Tidal and log in option being displayed. 

I have a windows pc but using the apple sign in method as I have the subscription on my iphone. 

I've used 2 different browsers already, not sure what the issue is.
