DJM 900 Master Cueing is awful

So I've been going through a few posts on this issue and Pioneer's response is literally "Not enough people are complaining about it so we don't plan on changing it anytime soon".  Well then allow me to add another complaint to the pile.

When people are DJing at shows (especially shows with a lineup where we can't adjust trim knobs and master gains on a whim), we want to hear the master channel in our headphones at a reasonable volume when we turn the Cue/Master knob to the right.  Every other mixer I've seen works this way.  It's simply the way most people beatmatch.  It's absolutely asinine that people get up on the stage, turn the knob all the way to master and hear barely a mouse fart in their headphones, and are forced to beatmatch with both tracks on Cue creating a disgusting distorted mess in the headphones.

At least make it an option, Pioneer.  DJs are your clients, you don't get to tell us what the "right way" is.

Hello David,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Yes, engineers already have recognized such features and included them in the new models such as DJM-900NXS2 and DJM-450.

Unfortunately, DJM-900 is a discontinued model so that it is impossible to add any new features.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you very much for your kind understanding.

Best regards,

CRM, Pioneer DJ

If this is fixed in the 900NXS2 that's great news for those of us that mix in the headphones / with IEM's. Can you explain how the feature works now? Is the master cue pre-master volume control by default, or is this an option that needs to be changed in settings?
