S9 burning electronics smell

i have recently purchased an S9 in Beijing and since day one have had a strong odour of burning electronics. it seems to be working ok but its very worrying. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be doing that. also there seems to possibly be some kind of electrical short in the system as i'm getting feedback through the speakers whenever i use it for gigs. we have triple checked all connections on several occasions and never been able to eliminate the feedback completely. can somebody tell me what is the procedure for return and repair or replacement under warranty? this simply will not do!

thanks

oh and i am also getting quite regular momentary audio dropouts while using the S9. this has never been an issue for me before with any other mixer.  i was using Serato DJ 1.9.2 when the issue started. upgraded to 1.9.3. but this has not solved the problem.

If you purchased it recently you should be able to return it to retailer you purchased it from. If you're beyond 30 days since purchase, it should still be covered under the 12-Month Manufacturer's Warranty. This is not the place to file a request for warranty repair. Use the Pioneer support portal or contact your local corporate office and inquire how to submit a claim for repair under warranty.
