Change grid mid-track?

Ok, I know the forum is going to change tomorrow and this question will be closed, but I'm working on my set now so I'm hoping to get an answer today. If not, I'll repost this question tomorrow. :)

I have a Melodic Techno track that has a break in the middle after which the downbeat changes. So the break doesn't last a multitude of 4 bars, it actually lasts like 14.25 bars. So what I do, is position the track pointer on the downbeat of the drop, then go to the Grid editor, and click "Make an adjustment from the current position". This actually works and it moves the "new" grid to that position. The only problem is, that is doesn't move the downbeat:

So now I click the "Set the first beat of a bar to the current position". This moves the grid, but it moves the entire grid. Not only from that point forward.

Is there a way to do what I want?
