Press and hold the TIME MODE (AUTO CUE) button to engage the auto-cue mode, it won't play when you load the track.
As for your serial, we have a massive amount of inquiries, so it may take up to 1 month (as noted on the web form).

Also, hold down the menu button for a few seconds to access 'utility' menu, just check that: "Continuous Play Mode" is set to OFF... (and engage auto cue by holding down the "time mode" button). YOU WILL BE FINEEEEEEEEEEeeee...
