FolgenDisplay BPM when sorting tracks
Hi there,
When I export playlists on USB they are automatically sorted by BPM (picture 1).
If I want to sort them by date added (picture 2), I lose the BPM information (picture 3). Is it possible to still display the BPM along with the date in the newly sorted list?
Thanks
Fabrizio

What you’re seeing is expected behavior in Rekordbox. When you sort a playlist by Date Added, the software prioritizes that column for display, and BPM values are not shown in that view by default. Unfortunately, Rekordbox doesn’t allow showing both BPM and Date Added simultaneously in the USB export or on the XDJ screen—you can only sort by one criteria at a time. A workaround is to keep a playlist sorted by BPM for performance purposes, or use the Tag List view to check BPM manually while referencing your date-sorted playlist. On a lighter note, this reminds me of Brainrot Clicker—sometimes in a game, you have to choose which stats or upgrades to focus on at a time. You can’t see everything at once, but with strategy and planning, you still get the most out of each click!
Here are some ways you can try:
Check if the software has an option to display the BPM column in all sorting modes (usually in View/Columns settings).
Export the list as a CSV or Excel file, then sort by the added date while retaining the BPM column.
If the software doesn't directly support this, you can create a separate playlist with both pieces of information by editing the data before exporting.

Wrzuciłem resztki z karty i... maszyna zaczęła sypać. Nie wierzyłem własnym oczom. Deszcz za oknem przestał mi przeszkadzać, zamówiłem room service i czułem się jak król życia, mimo że za oknem szaruga.
