DDJ-1000 or DDJ-RZ? Which console is better?

I'm also on the wall about this.

I have the RZ but debating myself to get the ddj1000.

My feelings are the 1000 has new displays and on board FX section
Whilst the rz has better FX chain controls but software only and more buttons....

I'll be using software obviously to navigate my tunes and the recent update gave rekordbox the same FX as the new 1000.

So it comes to this... functionality it's the RZ. Looks it's the 1000.

Tough choice still tho....

Hi, i have the DDJ and an active speaker using xlrs. I need help. I have the latest Mac update high sierra, updated the firmware and driver for the ddj through pioneer website. I’m getting sound though the Mac but not through the active  speaker. I’ve gone into preferences in rekordbox and under audio there’s no option to select the ddj? Pulling my hair out here please help! I want to play on my new toy 😩

@paul > For High Sierra you need to install the drivers after disabling the OS security. See the guide here.
