CDJ 850 can't read memory stick

When I plug in my USB San Disk Cruzer Blade, my cdj850s still say 'no usb', I can't understand why this is when my USB is a 2.0 and my kingston usb works fine? Have had no problems using my sandisk usb on my computer or anything else.
